My childhood was a struggle, but that struggle was mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically preparing me for what is to come.
Growing up with a Christian mother is a blessing, although at that time, I didn’t enjoy it or see it as the blessing it was.
I learnt what was truly important and mandatory to have in other to lead and live a successful life and it all started from having and embracing a spiritual life.
I used to dislike all the many prayers, fasting and church attendances my mother put me through –during that time, a seed was being planted in me (with or without the planter’s (my mother) knowledge) and I didn’t even know it.
But when I became an adult, the things I dread the most growing up is now revealed to be my backbone - my foundation.
It held me up and strong even during the wildest wind and storm in my life.
